I originally sent the message below via Idylwood's two Yahoo! e-mail groups on January 12; however, based on additional emails that have shown up on our two Yahoo! e-mail sites since then, it appears that some residents are still confused as to whether they can or cannot compost leaves in Spurlock Park.
This is the latest and final word on this issue: Let there be no doubt, it is NOT ACCEPTABLE OR LEGAL to compost leaves in Spurlock Park. If you want to compost leaves in your own yard, have at it, but NEVER, NOT EVER, ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.
